Getting Started
How do I create an account?
Click "Sign Up" in the top navigation, then create an account using your email address or sign in with Google/Apple. You'll need to verify your email address to complete the registration process.
How do I upload my first map?
Visit your Creator Dashboard, click "Upload Map," and follow the step-by-step process to upload your Google My Maps KML file, add descriptions, set pricing, and publish your map.
Buying Maps
How do I purchase a map?
Browse the marketplace, click on any map to view details, then click "Purchase" to buy it securely through Stripe. After payment, you'll immediately have access to download the KML file.
Where can I find my purchased maps?
All your purchased maps are available in your Library. You can download them again at any time, view map details, and leave ratings.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards, debit cards, and digital wallets through our secure Stripe payment system. We do not store your payment information on our servers.
Selling Maps
How do I set up payments as a creator?
Connect your Stripe account through the Creator Dashboard to receive payments. You'll need to provide basic information and bank account details. Stripe handles all payment processing and tax documentation.
What percentage does MapMarket take from sales?
MapMarket takes a small platform fee from each sale to cover hosting, payment processing, and platform maintenance. The exact percentage varies by pricing tier. You can see your net earnings in your Creator Dashboard.
How often are payouts processed?
Payouts are processed automatically by Stripe according to their schedule (typically weekly for established accounts). You can view payout details and schedules in your Stripe dashboard.
Technical Issues
My map upload failed. What should I do?
Ensure your KML file is properly formatted and exported from Google My Maps. The file should be under 10MB and contain valid map data. If problems persist, email us the KML file at mapmarket0@gmail.com.
I can't download a map I purchased. Help!
Check your Library to confirm the purchase completed successfully. If you see the map but can't download it, try refreshing the page or using a different browser. Contact support if the issue persists.
The website is loading slowly or not working properly.
Try clearing your browser cache, disabling browser extensions, or using an incognito/private window. If you continue experiencing issues, please report them to mapmarket0@gmail.com with details about your browser and device.

How do I change my password or email?
Currently, password and email changes must be requested through support. Email mapmarket0@gmail.com with your request and we'll help you update your account information securely.
How do I delete my account?
To delete your account and all associated data, please contact mapmarket0@gmail.com. Note that this action is irreversible and you'll lose access to all purchased maps and creator content.
Is my payment information secure?
Yes! We use Stripe for all payment processing, which is PCI DSS compliant and used by millions of businesses worldwide. We never store your payment card information on our servers - everything is handled securely by Stripe.
